A safe, privacy-first digital life for children.
We build technology for families — apps that respect children's privacy, and give them a safe, healthy environment to start their digital lives.
A safe AI companion for curious kids
Children can ask questions, explore ideas, and discover the world — with an AI experience built for their age. No ads, no data sold, just genuine curiosity.
“Growing up digital shouldn't mean growing up exposed. We give children a healthy place to start their digital lives — and parents the confidence to let them.”
This is why SafeCircles exists.
A healthier digital life for children
Children deserve digital tools designed with their wellbeing in mind — not built around advertising, data collection, or addictive mechanics. SafeCircles was created to build a new generation of apps where safety, privacy, and the wellbeing of children come first.
Children come first
Every decision we make starts with a simple question: is this good for children? Not good for engagement, not good for growth — good for children. If the answer is no, we don't build it.
Privacy by design
Children's data deserves the highest level of protection — and that means privacy has to be built in from the start, not bolted on as a setting. We collect only what's strictly necessary, store no more than required, and never sell data. Ever.
No attention traps
We don't use endless feeds, engagement loops, or manipulative notifications. Technology should support family life — not compete with it. Our goal is never to maximise screen time. Our goal is to be genuinely useful.
Honest by default
Families should always understand how the technology they use actually works. We write plain-language privacy policies. We're clear about what we collect, why, and what happens to it. No exceptions.
Apps families can trust
Each product under SafeCircles is built with the same DNA: privacy-first, child-appropriate, and genuinely useful for modern family life.
Safe, private messaging for kids & families
Ping gives children a messaging space that's genuinely built for them: approved contacts only, no ads, no data sold. A first step into digital communication that parents can feel good about, and kids actually enjoy.
ping.kidsFirst words album for parents & families
lalla helps parents capture and celebrate their child's first words — a private, beautifully designed album that belongs to your family, not to a data broker.
lalla.appA safe AI companion for curious kids
Nano gives children a space to ask anything — an experience built for kids aged 6–12. Age-appropriate answers, built-in safety, and a parent dashboard that keeps families in control.
nano.kidsQuestions we ask ourselves every day
Building for children carries a responsibility most tech companies don't take seriously enough. We do.
Every product decision is filtered through this question. It sounds simple, but it rules out an enormous amount of what passes for "normal" in the children's tech industry.
A small team with a clear purpose
SafeCircles GmbH is an independent software company based in Germany, founded to build the family-first digital products we couldn't find anywhere else. We believe the best technology for children comes from people who care deeply — not from companies chasing scale.

No ads. No tracking. No nonsense.
Our products are funded by the families who use them, not by advertisers who want to target their children. That's how we keep our incentives aligned.
Open about what we build and why
We publish clear, plain-language privacy policies. We explain what we collect, why we collect it, and what happens to it. No dark patterns, no buried clauses.
Built for the long term
We're not here for a quick exit. We're building products families can trust and rely on — which means being around for the long haul, and acting like it.
Let's talk
